BIOGRAPHY
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Dror Shiftan specializes in matters before the Israel Patent Office in the areas of pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and biology, as well as handling non-infringement and invalidity analysis involving pharmaceutical formulations, active compounds, and processes for preparing active compounds.
His work includes the management of large patent portfolios in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medicinal chemistry and biology, and intellectual property matters, ranging from patent prosecution to non-infringement and invalidity opinions regarding pharmaceutical formulations, active compounds, and processes for preparing active compounds. He has been involved in large due diligence matters; infringement, validity, and patentability opinions; licensing matters; and opposition proceedings in Israel, as well as solving the three-dimensional structure of molecules, liquid and solid-state NMR, computer modeling, rational drug design, and polymer chemistry.
